The domain is hosted on a Xen host, named after the album Aegis by Theatre of Tragedy

Most servers are Debian, however the are some Gentoo and NetBSD hosts around

Of course each host has its own virtual hardware, a small slice of this

A limited amount of webspace is available

This is a fairly standardly configured mod_userdir site.

Anything world readable in your public_html directory will be accessible at http://cons.org.nz/~username

If you want to look like the rest of the site, use the template.

If you don't want to use the template, I would appreciate if your initial document contined the sidebar include

The email address username@cons.org.nz is now valid.

This email address is accessible from the webmail interface, as well as being delivered to your home directory.

In order to use imap, you may use a port forward over ssh to lorelei, or run imapd on aoede

fetchmail and maildrop are available
